MISSION STATEMENT:

The Susquehanna Health team is committed to
providing
high quality, compassionate, cost effective
and accessible
health care to their patients and the
community.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Volunteers serve in non-patient and patient
service
areas. This group of diversity consists of
adults, teens
and college students coming from all
walks of life. Once
the application is completed
and placement is
considered, an interview is
scheduled to talk about your
interests and our
opportunities.Volunteers serve in the
areas of:

(1) Patient care [2 – 4 hours a week] reading, writing,
running errands,
or distribution of water;

(2) Non-Patient care [3 – 6 hours a week] greeting
visitors and escorting
patients at the time of
entrance and in other departments.

VOLUNTEEN OPPORTUNITIES:

Two qualities that lend strength and support to
Susquehanna Health Systems are your time and a
willingness to be a part of this support team. VolunTEEN
opportunities provide two major benefits –that is, helping
others while helping yourself. The VolunTEEN group
can experience personal growth, learn about healthcare
careers, all while giving their time and service to others.
Students, if you are in your 9th to 12th year of high
school, the Susquehanna Health team and family
welcomes your talents, skills and abilities in the Support
Services department.

AUXILIARY OPPORTUNITIES:

Become a member of one of these Hospital Auxiliaries;

1. Divine Providence Hospital
2. Muncy Valley Hospital, or
3. The Williamsport Hospital

The members of our Auxiliary team are a group of
dedicated people working together to support our
community. The auxiliaries affords a stimulating
opportunity for social interaction by participating in
rewarding activities such as getting involved in a
fundraising committee, planning receptions for
employees or supplying teddy bears for the Skilled
Nursing Unit. Either way, your membership is vital to the
work of our auxiliaries.

Volunteer opportunities are for individuals of all ages,
status, or occupational abilities. We are sure you can fit
into the big picture. So, come and make a difference in
your community.
